NAD HP70 Has ‘Great Detail and Balance’ in Latest Review

NAD HP70 Home Theatre HiFi Review Lifestyle

“The NAD VISO HP70 are a stylish, great sounding and effective audio companion, whether for daily use or for travel,” says Carlo Lo Raso in his Secrets of Home Theater and High-Fidelity review of the NAD HP70. Following his preview review back in July, Lo Raso describes the HP70 as striking “that perfect comfort balance,” while delivering a dynamic performance. “I found the NAD VISO HP70 a very good sounding and reliable partner to use on a daily basis.”

As the first-ever wireless headphone from NAD, the HP70 features three unique listening modes and advanced Bluetooth® technology. Drawing on the expertise of NAD’s engineers, the HP70 was designed to immerse listeners into their music while providing all-day comfort. Beginning his review by testing the HP70’s 24-bit aptX HD audio capability, Lo Raso says that he found sound quality to be impressive when streaming over Bluetooth. “Overall sound quality was very good from both my devices via Bluetooth,” says Lo Raso. “Everything sounded clear with no breakup or static of any sort.”

When it came to testing the HP70’s listening modes, Lo Raso advises readers to listen with either Active Mode or Active Noise Cancelling Mode to experience the power of RoomFeel™. “Personally, I wouldn’t want to be without it,” says Lo Raso. “RoomFeel tuning particularly made the bass performance seem more like my home reference speakers, deep and impactful.” An innovative technology that delivers the full range sound of a high-performance loudspeaker inside of a room, RoomFeel instantly transports listeners inside a soundstage that is expansive and detailed.

While listening to the likes of Al Di Meola and Doug and the Slugs, Lo Raso found that the HP70 was easily able to play the music “and have it sound very much as it does on my reference home speakers. It had great overall detail, dimension and balance.”
