NAD M32 Wins Highly Commended Award from Hi-Fi News

NAD M32 Award HiFi News

If there’s a lesson to be taken away from writer Andrew Everard’s review of the NAD M32, it’s that you should never judge a book by its cover. While testing the Masters Series amplifier, Everard repeatedly alludes to the fact that there’s more to the M32 than meets the eye. Featuring a wide range of technologies, including NAD’s DirectDigital™ amplification technology, as well as our innovative BluOS® music management software, the M32 is one of the most flexible amplifiers on the market today.

In his review, Everard talks about the ease of use he experienced when selecting and playing music through the M32, thanks in part to NAD’s optional BluOS MDC Module. A true operating system, the BluOS module allows users to access and stream lossless music to every room. Combining the M32 with his own pair of PMC OB1’s, Everard found the soundstage to be both highly appealing and convincing.

While listening to Deadmau5’s orchestral compilation album Where’s The Drop?, Everard found that the M32 easily showed the openness and detail of the tracks. Taking a trip back in time to John Mayall’s 1990 album A Sense Of Place, Everard highlights the M32’s ability to bring the character out of the vocals and instrumentals. Everard concludes his review by calling the M32 “a hugely impressive integrated amplifier, with plenty of power allied to real control and grip, driving hard without losing plot,” and gives the M32 a Highly Commended award for its warmth and weight.
