CI 8-120 DSP Combines Company’s Legendary Sound Quality with Installer-friendly Features

ISE 2019, Amsterdam, NL, 31 January, 2019 — NAD Electronics, a leading manufacturer of high-performance audio/video components, is set to preview an all-new high power, multi-channel distribution amplifier, the CI 8-120 DSP. The new NAD amplifier is aimed squarely at the custom installation market, with its space-saving and standard 1U rack-mounted form factor, detailed sound management by way of DSP circuitry, and remote accessibility via IP, among other installer-friendly features. Power is expected to be rated at 120 watts x 8 channels, and bridgeable to 4 channels. Product availability is estimated to be Summer 2019.

“As the professional installation market continues to grow and evolve, NAD believes that refined audio performance, dependability and CI functionality are not mutually exclusive. There is no need to compromise. We will offer an extremely reliable platform, with the necessary feature set to make system designers and installers happy, while delivering the NAD signature sound,” explained Joe de Jesus, Custom Installation Product Manager for Lenbrook International, owners and manufacturers of NAD Electronics. “NAD has deep roots in the custom market and our new CI 8-120 DSP leverages our proprietary technologies in ways that deliver valuable benefits to both the quality-oriented custom integrator and their clients.”

Custom integrators are invited to preview the NAD CI 8-120 DSP at the Integrated Systems Europe show in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, February 5-9, 2019, in Hall 15 of the RAI, stand #B236.
