NAD C 328 Has ‘No Flaws’ in Secrets of Home Theater and HiFi Review

C 328 Amplifier

While unboxing the NAD C 328 Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier, writer Chris Eberle couldn’t help but be reminded of the iconic NAD 3020. “That single component introduced me to quality audio and I’ve never forgotten that experience,” says Eberle in his Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity review. Nearly four decades later, Eberle is experiencing that same excitement all over again with the NAD C 328. “In today’s age of huge feature lists and barrage of technology, it’s components like the C 328 that remind us of why we got into this hobby in the first place.”

In his review, Eberle says that one benefit of the Classic Series amp is that its “sound quality easily matches more expensive boxes but keeps cost down with smart and efficient design and engineering.” Listening to everything from Maurice Ravel’s “Daphnis and Chloe, Suite No. 2” to the Foo Fighter’s 2011 album Wasting Light, Eberle found that the C 328 undoubtedly made good recordings sound great. “The NAD C 328 Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier has no flaws that I can determine. It does exactly what it’s designed to do and it does it extremely well.”

“For those who just want a solid and reliable two-channel system for a surprisingly small sum, the NAD C 328 has few equals.”
