As with any smarthome control system, seamless integration and ease-of-use were two deciding factors when it came to selecting which products would be integrated into the couple’s home. Featuring 60 watts per channel, and powered by BluOS™, the CI 720 gives the couple access to stream 24-bit high-res music with the control of a smartphone or tablet via Ethernet and third-party control systems like Control4, Crestron, RTI and URC.

Wielding the power of BluOS, the CI 720 also allows the couple to unlock, control and stream local & cloud-based music playlists to multiple BluOS-enabled zones in the home using simple touch-screen commands. The CI 720 can be paired with any quality custom in-ceiling or in-wall speakers, and clearly demonstrates the versatility and innovation that NAD CI offers. However, it is not the only NAD CI streamer to offer this.

As shown in the illustration below, the NAD CI 580 can be used to provide up to four zones, and each zone can be grouped together in perfect sync using BluOS, or play individual streams in different zones simultaneously. Realizing the couple wanted to add a few more zones of music, the CI 580 was the ultimate choice.

The CI 580 can be easily integrated into a BluOS connected home, while delivering blazing-fast music streams to any zone you select. With NAD’s music-first approach to performance, while providing a seamless room-to-room listening experience, the CI 580 ensures that there are no skips or delays – even when streaming and controlling music from a smartphone, tablet, or system controller Analogue and digital inputs are also available to add a cable box and other non-network sources, making them available and selectable in every zone.
