HiFi Critic Calls NAD C 388 ‘Flexible and Powerful’ in Latest Review

C 388 Amplifier Review

“This flexible, powerful amplifier is as sophisticated as it is compelling,” says writer Andrew Everard in his HiFi Critic review of the NAD C 388. Highlighting features such as NAD’s renowned Modular Design Construction, Everard’s review of the Classic Series component is both detailed and compelling.

Acknowledging that the C 388 resembles its three Classic Series siblings, the NAD C 328, 338 and 368, Everard quickly reveals that the C 388 is a lot more than meets the eye. Diving into the C 388’s inner workings, Everard provides an overview of the C 388’s attributes, including a MM phono stage for vinyl, built-in Bluetooth for music streaming, and the ability to add BluOS®, the world’s premium wireless multi-room music ecosystem. Everard concludes that the amp has more than enough features to appease any audio enthusiast. Describing the C 388 as superior and captivating, Everard writes that the C 388 was able to easily handle a wide range of music from large-scale classical pieces to chamber works, delivering a broad and spectacular soundstage.
