The C 700 BluOS Streaming Amplifier takes NAD Electronics’ expertise in integrated amplifiers and adds wireless BluOS for multi-room streaming capabilities. This streamer is built to be a high performance, high value “just add speakers” music solution for the modern streaming age. Here are a few details behind its design:

Solid Amplification

The amplifier section of the C 700 implements HybridDigital UcD amplification which provides incredible load invariant power with extremely low distortion and noise in the audible range. The UcD output delivers 2 x 80 watts continuously and over 2 x 120 watts instantaneously, allowing for lifelike dynamics in short-term musical transients to be reproduced.

ES-9010 DAC

A high-class DAC in the C 700 comes from the same family of converters used in NAD’s Masters Series M33 and M10 units. The ES-9010 from the ESS Sabre family provides nothing short of audiophile-grade digital to analogue signal conversion supporting up to 24-bit/192kHz high resolution audio and MQA playback.

Connectivity Options

Numerous playback options are offered with the C 700 including RCA analogue, HDMI-eARC, as well as optical and coaxial digital inputs. Connect disc players, game consoles, external drives, media adapters, flat panel displays or opt for wireless control with Apple Airplay 2 and two-way aptX HD Bluetooth. Listen through a host of options like stereo loudspeakers, or even a pair of wireless headphones to take full advantage of the two-way Bluetooth capability.
 

 

Elegant Industrial Design

Despite its small, elegant case, the C 700 performs as you would expect from a full size traditional hi-fi component. A high definition 5” colour display shows cover art, track progress and settings, while an easy two-button menu navigation makes hands-on control simple. Its sleek form factor is enhanced with a solid aluminum body and smooth glass front panel.
 

 

Multi-Room BluOS® Streaming

The C 700 operates on the venerable BluOS® platform which allows for wireless, multi-room audio distribution with support for high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, full MQA decoding and rendering, and compatibility with hi-res streaming services like Amazon Music Ultra HD, Deezer, Qobuz, and Tidal. Add up to 63 BluOS® players from NAD Electronics to create a multi-room audio experience that can all be controlled with the BluOS® app.
