NAD Awarded Top Honour by World’s Most Prominent Hi-Fi Press

PICKERING, ONTARIO, CANADA, AUGUST 15, 2017 – NAD Electronics, a leading manufacturer of premium home audio and video products, announced today that the C 338 HybridDigital™ Integrated Amplifier, the first hi-fi amplifier to feature Chromecast built-in for music streaming, has won the EISA Award for the Best Value Amplifier 2017-2018. Representatives of the brand will be accepting the award during the EISA Awards ceremony, scheduled to take place during IFA in Berlin, Germany, on September 1, 2017.

EISA, the European Imaging and Sound Association, is an independent body of 50 specialist interest magazines initially based only in Europe, but the organization has recently expanded to include the editorial leaders of premier publications in North America and Asia-Pacific. The award winners are chosen as the best of the best in their category from the thousands of products tested and reviewed by EISA member magazines over the year. The NAD C 338 and its highly versatile Class D amplifier design led its class in performance, connectivity and flexibility at an unrivalled price.

With the EISA Awards now in their 30^th year, the results are widely regarded as the highest European honour in the hi-fi industry, and the honour now extends worldwide. To win an EISA award, products undergo a robust, rigorous and exhaustive judging process in two stages. Following intensive testing and audition at the facilities of EISA member magazines, each journal submits a shortlist of the best products in each category. The second stage takes place at EISA’s annual General Meeting, where a democratic voting process establishes a consensus of excellence and determines the winning products.

The C 338 HybridDigital Integrated Amplifier is part of NAD’s newest line of Classic Series amplifiers, including the C 368 and C 388 HybridDigital DAC Amplifiers, which are all available where NAD products are sold.
