The NAD M33 V2, M10 V3, and C 658 will support Dirac Live Bass Control for advanced low-frequency optimization and intelligent subwoofer integration.

TORONTO, CANADA, MAY 19, 2026 – NAD Electronics, a leading global high-performance audio brand, today announces support for Dirac Live bass Control for select BluOS enabled amplifiers, bringing advanced low-frequency optimization and intelligent subwoofer integration to users for the first time.
Available beginning May 19, 2026, with BluOS version 4.16.6, Dirac Live Bass Control will be available on NAD’s newest generation of premium streaming amplifiers, including the NAD M33 V2, NAD M10 V3, and NAD C 658 BluOS Streaming DAC. Support for Dirac Live Bass Control also extends to previous generations of the M33 and M10.
By intelligently optimizing speakers, subwoofers, and room acoustics together, Dirac Live Bass Control delivers tighter, smoother, and more immersive bass performance throughout the listening environment.
“The integration of Dirac Live Bass Control into select NAD amps marks a strong step forward, expanding Dirac’s market presence while enhancing the audio performance of NAD’s renowned lineup," stated Rikard Hellerfelt, VP and Head of Consumer Electronics at Dirac. "Traditionally, configuring subwoofers for optimal performance has been complex and often imprecise. Our advanced bass control technology co-optimizes subwoofers and speakers, creating a seamless blend at the crossover point. This innovation eliminates seat-to-seat sound variation, delivering impactful bass that’s free of unwanted reflections and boominess – making premium bass quality accessible to everyone, from professional installers and audiophiles to everyday consumers."
Dirac Live Bass Control is an advanced room optimization solution that works alongside Dirac Live Room Correction to analyze both frequency and timing behaviour. Powered by advanced AI and machine learning, the technology intelligently calibrates one or multiple subwoofers to improve bass integration, phase alignment, transient response, and seat-to-to consistency.
“With Dirac Live Bass Control, we’re continuing to elevate the NAD listening experience by bringing more precise and intelligently optimized bass performance to our most advanced BluOS streaming amplifiers,” said Morten Nielsen, Product Manager at NAD Electronics. “This update not only enhances our newest generation of streaming amplifiers like the M33 V2 and M10 V3, but it also reinforces our commitment to supporting older generation products through the BluOS platform.”
The result is more accurate and balanced low-frequency reproduction that integrates naturally with the main speakers while minimizing boominess, standing waves, and uneven bass response. For music listeners, this means improved clarity, realism, and emotion, while home theatre enthusiasts can create a more immersive, cinematic experience throughout the room.
