I was immediately struck by the revealing nature of this preamp. It did what it was supposed to do, in spades, and all for about $100 US. Unfortunately, this preamp has a tendency to shut down on the right channel from time to time. I have tested the cables, and I know that's not the problem. I checked the internal build, and it looks fine. The solution seems to be fate: it eventually starts to work again. So, buy knowing you are getting an amazing sound for hundreds less than you'd expect; however, it seems a bit temperamental.
