User Review: C 352 Stereo Integrated Amplifier - NAD C352

January 20, 2007

Products: C 352 Stereo Integrated Amplifier

I have owned the C352 amplifier for a 1 1/2 years now and have been very very disappointed with the sound. I bought this amp to replace a SAE Pre-amp / Dynaco Power amp combo (27 years old) when the power supply went on my Dynaco. The NAD has no low end and muted mid range. When I got my Dynaco fixed I used the C352 as pre-amp and was equally disappointed. I have tried different speakers, Bose AM-3 with a sub woofer, EPI bookshelves and a pair of 3-way Transmission Line Speakers and in all cases the NAD C352 performed poorly. I am now back to my original setup and there is no comparison in sound quality and dynamics. I was familiar with NAD years ago and remember it sounding very good however the NAD sound I remember has changed a lot with the new product. Based on my experience I could not recommend the NAD C352.
