User Review: M3 Dual Mono Integrated Amplifier, M5 CD SACD Player, M4 Analogue Digital Tuner - Simply Outstanding!

Products: M3 Dual Mono Integrated Amplifier, M5 CD SACD Player, M4 Analogue Digital Tuner

I decided to upgrade my music audio system, keeping the B&W 685's and replacing the JBL subwoofer, NAD receiver & NAD CD player. After listening to a number of alternatives, I selected the NAD Master Series (M3, M4 & M5), a Velodyne Optimum 10, Furman power conditioner & Audioquest cables. The new system is a significant improvement! The 685's sound quite different, with much better stereo depth and left-right presentation. The amplifier sounds "effortless" at all volume levels, very smooth, not "tubby". CD's sound significantly better on the M5, unearthing sonic details in my favorite music, not previously heard on the old equipment. The few SACD "hybrid" disks I own take that level of performance even higher. The tuner is fine as well, though we don't use it to listen to high-quality music. I suspect the Audioquest cabling brings the best out of already excellent equipment; I never thought they were worth the investment, but the detail, depth and "presence" of the new equipment seems to be enhanced by having them installed. I am 100% satisfied with the M3, M4 & M5 and would recommend them enthusiastically.
