I dreamed of owning NAD for year, after fooling about with lesser equipment. Couldn't afford the 762, but found a floor model in Chicagoland and they made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Fabulous, rock-solid receiver with tons of power to drive my Polk SDA SRS monsters (which will handle 750 watts, if I happened to have it). A bit complicated to get set up, like all modern receivers, but the sound is smoother and sweeter than generic receivers. I do wish audio tuning was easier. And I have yet to find an antenna that will give me reception without static, but as a surround unit for my DVD playe (cheap Sony), it's fantastic. I highly recommend NAD!
