User Review: M56 Blu-ray Disc Player - classy and met all expectations.

I have just replaced my M55 with the M56. I was certainly very happy with the M55 and so had high expectations of the M56 blu ray player. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is beautifully smooth and neutral, as was the M55. I found the picture quality in particular quite stunning and lifelike, my previous machine being no slouch in this area either, raises the bar considerably. I have only just bought the machine, so I expect I may find a few niggles after living with it for a while but at this stage it seems highly unlikely. The build quality is excellent, the only minor negative is the remote control which isn't as nicely finished as the aforementioned M55's. It isn't the cheapest player around but the old adage still holds true, 'you get what you pay for'.
