I have owned several NAD products over the years and always felt they gave excellent performance for the price. After many years of service, I decided to replace my B&K pro10mc preamp and NAD 208thx amp. This was driven by other system changes, not any dissatisfaction on my part. I was looking to purchase the NAD C 375BEE, but was tempted by a show demo M3. I took the plunge and purchased the M3. I am immensely pleased. After installing in my system (NAD PSB Goldi speakers and Sony ES front end), I sat down to listen to some music. In a word, I was flabbergasted. I did not expect such a profound improvement. Imaging width and depth were increased, bass response was cleaner, detail was enhanced; wow! I firmly believe we can fool ourselves, so I asked two other people to listen, without my presence or input. I later asked them for input and both made similar comments about the sound of the system. I was contemplating new loudspeakers, at some point in the future, but the M3 has made such a positive impact, I feel no need now.
