User Review: C 272 Stereo Power Amplifier - Awsome multi channel powerhouses

December 22, 2006

Products: C 272 Stereo Power Amplifier

I have 3 of these all bridged to Mono powering the Left, Centre and Right channels of a surround system (with an older C270 powering the rear pair). All the speakers are Richter Wizzards from Australia. The original plan was to bi-wire the speakers but the dynamics when bridged powering just one speaker each proved so addictive I have left them like that since day 1. When a bell is struck in the opening bar of Nick Cave's Red Right Hand it will literally make you jump. All the power doesn't seem to compromise more genteel music either. Geoff Buckley's Live at Sine CD leaves me breathless every time. You can clearly hear the hum of his Marshal guitar amp. I've only mentioned music so far because thats mostly what I use them for, however the whole point of a multi channel set up is movies. These Amps can lift the roof of my house!
