I love my NAD 372. Having said that I mustconfess that I do not reference it to any other amp. all I know is that I enjoy and listen very closely to a wide range of music genres from classical music through jazz fusion to world music and 70s/80s rock. The 372 does not disappoint me in any way and I find the clarity of the mid-range and bass handling to be outstanding, again for my ear. The sound-staging is awesome and I truly believe I have achieved for a relatively small price what I would have struggled to do for even twice that. The only disappointment, a minor issue at that, is the volume control using the remote supplied and an inability of the volume knob to indicate a volume setting - I have overcome this with a 'dot' of Tippex. The final word: just great.
