I have been researching AV receivers for quite some time and settled on the NAD T773 for a variety of reasons - power, musicality and value. I have been very pleased with the sound right out of the box and it has definitely become sweeter after 200-300 hours of burn-in. I was sure that it would be an excellent solution for surround sound driving Definitve Technology speakers (2002TL bipolar towers for left and right and Mythos Eight with a SuperCubeIII for surrounds) but I was not prepared for the detail it provides in stereo mode. All-in-all, I am thrilled as every cd I listen to sounds better than it ever has. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
