Products: C 355BEE Stereo Integrated Amplifier

Just bought a C355BEE...I had to replace a Luxman LV-122 due to a bad balance pot...Of course, the sound quality of the NAD is excellent, no issues there....I found that I had to turn the volume control up a lot higher than I did on the Luxman to acheive the same SPL, yet the Luxman was only 55W per channel. I do have 2 complaints..first, the specs on this website seem to indicate that this amp is capable of driving a 2 ohm load..there is a power rating for 8,4 and 2 ohms...which is one of the reasons I bought it..yet upon reading the owners manual, it states that the lowest impedance speakers you should use are 4 ohms...if using both A and B speaker channels, your speakers must be 8 ohm...I consider this to be false advertising...the 2nd issue is that this is the first amp I have owned that doesn't have a subsonic filter...when listening to older albums on CD, I see subsonic excursion of my woofers, which I don't really like.
