User Review: T 775 A/V Surround Sound Receiver - Excellent receiver for the multi-channel surround sound audio enthusiast

December 30, 2013

Products: T 775 A/V Surround Sound Receiver

I purchased this receiver to replace a mass market A/V receiver. As both a surround sound and two channel enthusiast, I was looking for a unit capability of providing audiophile sound quality without requiring an investment in a separate multi-channel power amplifier and surround sound processor. The T775 has met this objective in spades. Not only is the sound quality without reproach, the receiver is very easy to set up and is able to accommodate a plethora of connected components, whether analog, HDMI, coaxial or optical. For someone interested in multi-channel SACD, DVD-audio or DTS sound reproduction, the T775 provides seven channels of 100 wpc, with all channels driven. In contrast, most mass market A/V receivers provide a power output specification with only two channels driven. In summary, I am very pleased with the performance of this unit and would highly recommend it to anyone who is seriously interested in multi-channel audio reproduction.
