I bought a used NAD 304 earlier in December 2012. An amp that came out of the 90s, it sounded great! Warm and clear sound. Although recently serviced by its previous owner with service warranty still in effect, it was only a minor fuse problem that was easily fixed in less than half an hour. Initially paired with old Sony speakers, it sounded a whole lot better with Wharfedale Diamond 9.2. I have a CD player, DVD player, TV sound, tuner and an RCA to 1/4" jack ready for a smartphone music player connected to it.
