In addition to my earlier review, I still have the following point. In general, digital equipment has the possibility (and the need) of firmware updates. The firmware in my C446 has a number, suggesting that it is not the first version. However, automatic updates are not possible with the C446. Even, the shop retailer is not allowed to update the firmware. The importer might do it. So my question is: are the NAD developers so convinced about their product that they think a firmware update will never be needed? If not, how are the owners informed when an important update is available?
