User Review: PP-3 Digital Phono Preamplifier - PP3 falls short of promise of USB socket
July 28, 2012
Products: PP-3 Digital Phono Preamplifier
Just installed my recently purchased PP3 unit and lo and behold after following instructions on box to install VinylStudio Lite CD into my computer and install, I find that this actually a mini CD and my imac will not accept this! Next step go and attempt to download of the NAD site and come up with the result "no file present to download" then went to the Alpine Soft website where I actually have to pay $30 Australian for this. Bit of a con job I feel from a product that brags about the USB that was a selling point of the unit . I expect more from a company the in the scale of things and the prestige of product that is being marketed here and at the pricetag we pay here in Australia. Not impressed. My old Pro-ject phono box did as good a job through the Quad vintage system that I have anyway! Did I miss something along the way here?
