User Review: C 375BEE Integrated Amplifier - A very nice and powerful stereo amp

December 16, 2011

Products: C 375BEE Integrated Amplifier

I purchased my first NAD integrated stereo amp way back in 1985 (a model 3155), and it still works today as well as it did when I first purchased it. I wanted a more powerful amp, and this one certainly has plenty of power. I really like its flexability with inputs and outputs for 2 tape decks, and I also like being able to buy a phono preamp that gets integrated into the amp. I did purchase this preamp, and it is very quiet and great sounding. I am disapointed to learn that the latest MDC component (a DAC) will not work with early versions of the C375. That's what I have, so I cannot take advantage of the second MDC slot on my amp. I am surprised that NAD recommends an external DAC for early owners and, as far as I know, doesn't offer to upgrade the early amps to work with this second MDC component.
