User Review: C 356BEE Stereo Integrated Amplifier, PP 375 Phono Preamplifier MDC Module - Reviving my equipment

Products: C 356BEE Stereo Integrated Amplifier, PP 375 Phono Preamplifier MDC Module
I got boared with the sound of my old amp. I really shouldn't have bought my former amp. In my search for a new heart of my equipment, I bumped into the NAD C 356. Using B&W 683 speakers the NAD revived the sound in my living room. Together with a Marantz 7004 network player, my old sony CD player, a sony cassette machine, a Technics 1/4" tape machine and a Behringer mixing console, the NAD is used to listen to music, amplify the sound of my TV and my wife doing karaoke. Wonderfull that the preamp and amp are seperated and can be used from the outside. A 15 band equilizer was put between them and the extra phono module made my MC element of Technics SL1700 turntable work perfectly. Wonderfull amplifier, glad I bought it. One thing I don't understand is why NAD puts a RS232 socket on the amp, in times where new pc's aren't equiped any more with a RS232. Why not a USB instead?
