NAD D 1050 DAC Stars in What Hi-Fi

September 27, 2013

five-star digital music

Part of the new NAD Digital series, the D 1050 USB DAC is a whole new approach to the traditional DAC design. And it didn't take the sound experts at What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision to take notice. Landing at What Hi-Fi? headquarters with its bigger brother, the NAD D 3020, the test experts opened up the box to find a loaded desktop DAC with an impressive feature set, including support for 24/96 and 24/192 studio-mastered music. The D 1050 also doubles as a portable headphone amp with a single headphone output, in addition to a wide collection of analogue and digital inputs/outputs for more connectivity options.

For the sound experts at What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision; there is no question about it, the new D 1050 USB DAC is a true five-star produc and conclude with, "it is a brilliant box tricks, with entertaining, full bodied sound."
