Australian Hi-Fi Review NAD T 787 and C 390DD

July 12, 2012

The editors of Australian Hi-Fi recently sat down to review two of NAD's latest and most innovative components: T 787 AV Surround Sound Receiver and C 390DD Direct Digital Powered DAC Amplifier, to hear what the audio world has been buzzing about. Packed with the latest digital technology and innovations, Australian Hi-Fi has nothing but praise for both of these products.

Home theater Surround Sound Receiver

"The latest 'heavyweight' surround receiver [T 787] from NAD, will deliver masses of power and is guaranteed to do it without turning a distorted hair, be it into 4 ohms or 8 ohms, and across the full audible frequency range."

"One well-known speaker designer I was talking to recently told me that while he's no fan of surround or multi-channel receivers, his new NAD surround receiver [T 787] sounds great!

"NAD have gone a step further and made the entire amplifier [C 390DD] a digital design."

"Firstly, the digital design [C 390DD] produces a totally uncoloured sound, almost unmeasurable distortion, and an attention to detail beyond that of most analogue designs."

"This is an all-out attempt to make a genuine high-defintion digital amplifier [C 390DD] with enough power to drive most speakers and enough high-end audio quality to satisfy everyone."
