Don’t be fooled by the big power ratings of some very low priced products. All power is not the same! In fact, the quality of power is far more important than the quantity of power when it comes to the realism of your Home Theatre.
The T 737 has all the performance required to fill an average sized room to satisfyingly realistic sound levels without the harsh and muddled sound so common among lesser AVRs. All seven channels offer the same high performance using high current discrete output devices.
Video quality is also top notch, whether your source is the older Composite or S-Video or the higher performing Component Video format. HDMI signals are simply switched without any extraneous processing or loss of quality.
Digital audio processing is handled by the latest generation of 32bit DSPs and precision Analogueto- Digital and Digital-to-Analogue converters. Specific audio quality components are used throughout the signal path.
The T 737 has everything needed to form the centrepiece of your Home Theatre. All setup is done via the comprehensive On Screen Display. NAD uses a system of ‘virtual inputs’ that allow perfect customization of your set up. Select an input, give it the name of your choosing, associate any video and audio source, analogue or digital, and carry on until you have an input for each source in your system. The unused inputs can be hidden if not used, the T 737 now only has actively used inputs to choose from. Additional customization can be added with NAD’s system of AV Presets: different speaker setups, levels, tone controls and surround modes can be memorized to an input so that input always has your preferred setup, or can be applied to any input with a simple direct access key press on the remote.
The T 737 has surround modes that perfectly cater to the three types of program material; multi-channel encoded DVDs use Dolby Digital EX and DTS ES, encoded two channel recordings give nearly equal results with Dolby ProLogic IIx and DTS Neo:6, and NAD’s own EARS and Enhanced Stereo modes are perfect for creating convincing surround sound from unencoded sources like CD.
High quality AM and FM tuners are included and offer up to 30 AM and 30 FM station presets. Additionally, the T 737 offers XM Ready (120V) or DAB Ready (230V) sockets that allow a clear upgrade path to these new digital broadcast offerings. Just add the NAD DB 1 adaptor (or XM adaptor) and the T 737 uses its display, remote, and its superb digital processing to get the most from these exciting new formats.
iPod enthusiasts will also be happy to find support for NAD’s optional IPD 1 and IPD 2 Docks for iPod. This allows audio, video and pictures stored on your iPod to be played directly on your NAD Home Theatre. In keeping with NAD’s latest green initiative, there are no heavy metals or hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the T 737.
When you see the superb build quality and note the advanced feature list and performance specifications of the T 737, you will immediately see why we are so proud of our accomplishment. Costing no more than ‘ordinary’ AV Receivers, the NAD T 737 is a clear step up in performance and value. Experience one at your NAD Dealer today!
