HP30 On-Ears Win 2015 GOOD DESIGN Award
January 10, 2016
NAD Electronics is proud to announce that for a second year in a row, one of our VISO headphone products has won a GOOD DESIGN award. Chosen by a jury of design experts at The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, the NAD VISO HP30 On-Ear Headphones were designed in collaboration with David Farrage of award-winning design company DF-ID. Snagging the prestigious honour, the VISO HP30s follow in the footsteps of the NAD VISO HP50 Over-Ears. Since its inception a little over two years ago, the NAD VISO headphone series has been making waves amongst the audiophile community. Most recently, the HP20 In-Ears earned a spot on T3 Magazine’s Best In-Ear Headphones list.
Infused with NAD’s proprietary RoomFeel technology, the VISO series continues to be recognized for its elegant appearance, as well as its impeccable sound quality. Through the power of RoomFeel, songs are made to sound more natural by taking into account the effects a room has on music playback, resulting in a much richer listening experience. Equipped with a detachable cable with inline Apple volume & playback controls, the VISO series allows you to take control of how you listen to your music.
“NAD VISO Headphones harmoniously and beautifully integrate form and function in a seamless blend of bespoke materials, providing robust reliability while remaining lightweight and comfortable,” said David Farrage, Industrial Designer of the NAD VISO series. “These product narratives not only convey quality in the headphone's physical appearance and tactility, but more importantly echo the luxurious listening experience each headphone performs.”
