NAD with Stereo Exchange Partner for 2010 WIRED Store in New York City

NAD Electronics and New York’s premier audio and video specialist, Stereo Exchange, offer engaging consumer electronics at WIRED’s Experiential Gallery Open for the Holidays

PICKERING, ON, November 19th, 2010 — NAD Electronics, the highly regarded manufacturer of high-performance audio/video components, has joined forces with New York’s Stereo Exchange to participate in the technology showcase of the year – the 2010 WIRED Store, an experiential gallery open during the holidays in New York City.

In line with global concern over climate change, NAD has completely redesigned the power supply for improved efficiency and extremely low power consumption during standby while still allowing all remote activation and control interfaces.

WIRED, the magazine known for innovation and design, has curated more than 200 engaging products, along with interactive installations for its annual WIRED Store gallery. The shopping space includes what’s new and next in consumer electronics, gaming, active gear, home goods, eco-lifestyle items, apparel and children’s toys in the three-level historic Tower Records building in the NoHo neighborhood of New York City.

Located at 692 Broadway (at 4th Street), the WIRED Store will be open to the public between November 19 and December 26 from 11am to 7pm Wednesdays through Sundays. (The Store is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.) Visitors are invited to explore the gallery, test products and attend events; shoppers can purchase featured products online at www.wired.com/wiredstore beginning November 19. NAD’s innovative products can be found featured online in the “Sound & Fury” and “GeekDads” categories of the website and directly purchased from Manhattan’s premier electronics purveyor – Stereo Exchange, located only three short blocks south on Broadway.

Stereo Exchange, a family-owned and established since 1984, provides the WIRED Store’s music experience, is one of New York’s most advanced electronics and home entertainment retailers. Driven by their deep passion for performance audio and video, Stereo Exchange represents only the very best products from around the world. From high impact surround audio systems to the highest resolution video displays, they are ready to demonstrate the true possibilities for your home. Visit their many showrooms and closed listening rooms to live the experience. Located in the heart of New York at 627 Broadway, three short blocks south of the WIRED store, their professional staff are ready to assist you in the process of making your home sound more beautiful than ever.
