DAC 2 Stars in Hi-Fi World Review
September 27, 2013
The all-new DAC 2 Wireless USB Digital-to-Analogue Converter is considered 'one of the best' in the November issue of Hi-Fi Choice, making headway in one of today's most popular high-end audio magazines with five-stars and a lot of praise from Hi-Fi World editor Jon Myles. Looking deep into NAD's solution to 24/96 point-to-point streaming, Myles fancied how easy it was to set up the DAC 2 and gave NAD two thumbs for developing: "a simple, convenient and fuss-free way for getting high-resolution from a computer to your hi-fi system."
According to results from the Hi-Fi Choice lab, the DAC 2 measures extremely well for a wireless device. With ultra low levels of distortion and its ability to attain the dynamic range of 24/96 music, NAD's new wireless USB DAC sets itself apart from other wireless streaming devices with a clear difference in sonic performance.
